The Order of Chivalry stands as our example of those qualities. EdGuArDo...you have been found worthy to join the Order of the Chivalry of the Holy Cross Defenders. As your proud and honored Knight, I would speak now on your qualities:  Your Grace, my brothers and sisters, honored guests. The first quality I recognized in this man was his extreme bravery. This, coupled with his drive to truly help those in need regardless of personal loss or sacrifice. He is utterly fearless in battle, and unafraid to face a challenge large or small. You are know him as a loyal friend, and to me he has been especially so. I can say without hesitation that I stand here before you now largely because of his inspiration in my dark hours. It has been said that the true worth of a person can be measured by how pale the world would be without him.: We all know how pale indeed our world would be, but for this man. He truly is gentle in nature and resolute in deed. Your Grace...I give you my dear and devoted friend, and he whom I shall proudly call my brother Knight. My Lord...I give you EdGuArDo.

Daedin MacAoidh: EdGuArDo...Stand before our Holy Grand Master. *EdGuArDo comes forward* You have been charged to take vigil to prepare yourself for this elevation. Speak now on your vigil and what it has taught you.

EdGuArDo: To me, my vigil started the first day I became Daedin's Squire. She has taught me many things. She has helped me become a better leader, I would say, and helped me with my shyness problem, and I would not be in this world without her and my friends. And I know that a knight cannot stand alone without his friends. Several of you here have helped me in one way or the other. People are never alone in the things they accomplish. In everything I have done I have always had a friend by my side...every quest...every battle. And Jeremy, I would like to thank you most of all for setting me on the right path when I was so young. *Jeremy blushes with pride*

Daedin MacAoidh: Witnesses! How do you find these words?! *A chorus of affirmations comes from the witnesses*

Daedin MacAoidh: Then EdGuArDo...hear these words which will be your oath. Do you swear that you will be a true and faithful Knight, ever mindful that yours is the example of all the virtues that the Defenders hold highest, and that the honor of these Orders springs from your own deeds? That you will protect and defend your brethren from harm of word or deed as is within your power? That you will obey the commands of the leaders of these Orders? That you will take unto yourself Squires to school in the ways of a Paladin, that you will defend the Holy Cross with your spirit, mind and body from now until the end of all things?

You and I have been through much together, and even though you were not even a member of the HCD at the time, I recognized in you a noble spirit. Defending Kazola's against the forces of ignorance and evil. *Kazola smiles* I will remember those melees well. Mortanius...you did one good thing..you brought Ed and I together! *smiles*  I was honored that you chose to join our cause with the Holy Cross, and I am especially proud of your elevation to Knighthood.
