Lady Sir Kyna Ravenlock and Wei Lao Wei stand before His Grace, Holy Grand Master Athelstan and the Assemblage of Defenders and our esteemed guests, Colban and Medic.

Sir Daedin MacAoidh, Herald of the Cross poses the question to Sir Kyna and Wei Lao Wei as they prepare to enter bonds and oaths.

From Sir Kyna:  "I offer everything a Knight of the Order of Chivalry can provide to another Defender. My House will be your House, my home-yours. My memories, my knowledge, my possessions I give freely to you, Wei Lao Wei, in the hopes that you will learn about the past, understand the present and when the time is right, shape the future of the HCD as one of the Chivalry. What I require is simple, your fealty to me, sincerity in every task set forth, a mind open to possibilities, the Wei that brings humor into any moment and a smile upon my face, and above else I charge you to grow, define yourself, and strive to stand as symbol of a Holy Cross Defender."

Wei Lao Wei returns oaths of what he offers to this bond and what he shall require....

The bond is sealed by the taking of the Squire's sash by Wei Lao Wei.

The title of Squire is bestowed.

And is proclaimed before witnesses to the Assemblage! Gle' Mhath!
